Nitin Sonawane

Mumbai is in Nitin's blood. Born and brought up in the city, Nitin has been watching Mumbai's transformation through the Lens. He currently works for The Economic Times, the business paper of the Times Group as a senior photographer. He has worked as a photo-journalist with the Times of India Group, Mid-Day Publications, Afternoon Despatch and Courier, the Free Press Journal, Kalakaumudi Daily, and The Rajasthan Patrika. In all, Nitin has 25 years of experience in photography.
Nitin has exhibited his work in exhibitions titled Life in Mumbai’s Death Traps, Children of Melghat, Creative Eye behind the Lens, Quake Disaster in Gujarat, Nagapanchmi at Shirala, From Darkness to Light – Surviving HIV and Ray of Hope - Dr. Lahane.
