Hungry Turtle Travels
Welcome to HUNGRY TURTLE TRAVELS travel channel by Tubby Hubby & Pocket Wifey and thanks for checking us out!
Tubby Hubby is Dariel, foodie and spice addict, while Pocket Wifey is photo and video nut, Cathy.
We have been living in Davao City, Cathy's birthplace, as photographers and writers for the past decade. Through our work, Cathy has come to rediscover her cultural and historical heritage, finding out among other things that she's a descendant of a Mandaya datu's daughter, while Dariel has fallen in love with the food, the undersea world and the mountains, and the indigenous cultures of the region (the Mandaya being one of them).
With this channel, we hope to reach a larger audience of slow travel enthusiasts who want to venture to Mindanao and Japan and discover its amazing riches for yourselves. Whether you're an avid traveler, a foodie, a photographer, a scuba diver, or you just love stories and dream of traveling and making new discoveries, we have something for you.
