Nava Bharat

Started in 1934 by Shri Ram Gopal Maheshwari, Nava Bharat is a shining beacon of journalism in India's heartland. With humble beginnings in Nagpur in 1934, Nava Bharat distinguished itself as a newspaper for the people of Central India, oft forgotten and ignored by the Capital and major metropolitan cities. By treating its readers with respect, Nava Bharat quickly found a place in every home of the Malwa Plateau.

With its dedication to accurate and analytical reporting, and journalistic integrity being aspired to with a fervent devotion, Nava Bharat was able to expand throughout Central India, opening editions in cities such as Jabalpur, Bhopal, Raipur, Indore, and Mumbai.

Journalism in the 21st century is vastly different when compared to what it was in the 1900s, however, Nava Bharat's principles still belong to an era where tyranny and oppression were resisted and fought against.
