Established in 2016.
We know that a place where people can gather for good food and wine has the potential to be popular. If we can combine that with playing and learning, it will be just what the community needs. We believe that the most important part of the equation is learning since it develops our understanding of the impacts of our choices in food on our bodies and our environment. That is the reason why we created Mahota Commune, a collective comprising a restaurant (Kitchen), a cafe (Pantry), grocer (Market), clinic, activity studio and DIY work space (Life). It is because we wish that it may be a gathering of like-minded people, who can take part in the complimentary weekly walks, yoga classes, wine tasting sessions, cooking classes, health talks and much more.
Just like the farm produce we are selling, we hope that Mahota can grow and develop organically. We may be selling vegetables and cooking pastas, but we are at the deepest level growing with the community.
