Jay Photo

I’ve been hooked on film photography since 1983, when I got my hands on a Praktica MTL5B at just 16 years old. Fast forward a few decades, and after a long digital detour, I’ve found my way back to film—and I’m loving it even more the second time around.

These days, I'm deep in the magic of black & white, developing almost everything at home (except XP2—it gets VIP lab treatment!). I also shoot colour, which I send out for pro processing and scanning. You'll find me sharing the results right here—warts, wonders, grain and all.

I’m also a bit of a camera collector. I'm slowly rebuilding the collection I always dreamed of—tracking down the gear I once owned, and finally getting my hands on the ones I couldn’t afford back then. Top of my wish list? The mighty Bronica ETRS and the classic Canon AE-1.

So if you love film, vintage gear, and seeing the world through a retro lens—subscribe and join the journey!
