But from my experience—and looking at their ongoing commitment to producing 35mm, 120, and motion picture stocks—it’s clear that Kodak still plays a vital role in keeping film alive. Whether it's Portra, Ektar, Gold, or the much-loved ColorPlus, Kodak film continues to be a staple for photographers around the world.
On top of that, we’re potentially on the verge of something exciting from Harman. Rumour has it a brand new film stock might be dropping tomorrow. If true, it’s another sign that film photography is thriving, with fresh ideas and options still being developed.
