I received my black belt from Marcelo Alonso, 6th degree black belt under Master Carlson Gracie.
I was born in Japan, and when I was 18 years old, I studied abroad in the U.S. to train BJJ and get a bachelor's degree in business from the University of Washington. Over the course of my BJJ journey, I have gained substantial experience competing and teaching BJJ in both Japan and the U.S. I am strongly passionate about improving the quality of others' lives, especially 40+ year olds, through teaching BJJ. My motto is "Today is the youngest you'll ever be."
