Bark

A complex ensemble at the crossroads of techno, ambient, and contemporary music, the duo Bark crafts performances that dismantle common dancefloor conventions.

Formed in 2020 by producer Aurélien Mortha, the project first reached audiences with the EP Flocons — a four-track, melodic, mineral-like piece of techno. In 2025, with the arrival of classically trained multi-instrumentalist Kevin Dumas, Bark evolved into a duo, now shaping hybrid, deeply sensitive music centered on immersive and organic live performances.

Far from relying on clichés or stereotypes, Bark’s world reveals a contemplative and obsessive intimacy. We witness a performance shifting between melancholy, brutality, breathlessness, and hope — unfolding over techno rhythms, lo-fi grooves, and distorted melodies.

From this twilight portrait, Bark beats the drum for those who, caught in their doubts and contradictions, feel more than ever the need to cry, to dance, to live, and to love.
