Castlebridge OB owner.

My model railway that only started in early 2017 is my second attempt. The first was in1970 but a forced move put paid to that.
It is a 00 gauge based in a small market town in Lancashire called Castlebridge. The year is 1947 and it is September. It is 100% LMS and will feature a main station, Castlebridge, and a branch station, Westhaven. There are several sidings and a busy goods yard that is also home to a local bus company, running anything left over from the war but also the new Bedford OB's that got back into production in 1946. Sharing this open area of the yard is a small taxi firm and the post office also store there one and only van,
Above Castlebridge station is the main high Street of Castlebridge with a plethora of small shops and lots of traffic.
For 20 years I owned a real Bedford OB, KJH 731. It is now earning its keep with Alecs Cars in Gloucester. When I bought her she was used as a dog kennel and only the brakes worked. It took 5 years to get an MOT.
