Grant Da Costa
After decades of travel in Australia and overseas, as a wilderness photographer and guide book author, here are some of the videos I have created for your viewing pleasure. They are mainly about hiking and/or sailing in Australia, and exploration of some special places elsewhere in the world.
Grant Da Costa is a former Research Engineer with the University of Melbourne (Bionic Ear—Cochlear Implant Project) and CSIRO Atmospheric Research (Global Warming & Climate Change Program). He has successfully combined his engineering career with wilderness photography and writing, currently under the Photowords banner. His wilderness photographs have been published as posters, in calendars and diaries, and in several books. He is the author of four guide books including the ground-breaking best seller Car Touring & Bushwalking in East Gippsland. The Melbourne Age newspaper has described Grant’s writing as “brilliant… the work of a highly organised mind”.
