Cody “The Lost Canuck” Kapcsos
Welcome to Lost Canuck Adventures, where exploration and restoration collide! Join me as I rediscover forgotten places and breathe new life into neglected homes from around Southern Alberta. From time to time, I love exploring abandoned ghost towns and century-old farmhouses, throughout Canada. Follow along as I restore old buildings back to their glory, one project at a time, uncovering the hidden histories of these properties.
My mission is to preserve Southern Alberta’s fading historic architecture, starting with my own property in the ghost town of Maybutt, a once-thriving railway town. Along the way, I'll share the ups and downs of my own renovation journey—starting with the challenge of having to move my current 1919 Craftsman farmhouse twice!
If you’re passionate about old houses, history, and hands-on restoration, this is the place for you. Follow along as I restore these forgotten gems, uncover their stories, and follow along to see the transformations.
