The Failed Founder

👋 Tashi here. I've been a Biomedical Engineer, Startup Founder ($10M valuation that failed), and currently a Corporate Executive at a Fortune 200 proptech company. I make videos cutting through startup mythology for first-time founders. Real failures, real lessons, real numbers. The transparency the startup world needs more of.

My $10M valued startup turned restaurants closed during the day into a network of coworking spaces. For many years prior to that I worked at an environmental startup that protected rain forests using carbon finance in Asia (featured in a documentary with Hugh Jackman).

I am Tibetan/Nepalese Australian and proud of my roots. My Dad is the first Tibetan to come to Australia and was the Dalai Lama's body guard. My Mum was the Nepalese entrepreneur that originally introduced Chai Tea to Australia. My Grandparents met as child performers in the Great Eastern Circus and built an incredible legacy. Never forget where you came from.
