Suvendra Nath Bagchi

University Professor by profession and ardent traveller by hobby. My first visit was way back in 1984 to Gangotri, Badrinath and Kedarnath. Family excursion was undertaken to Gangotri and Gomukh (the origin of river Ganges) again on foot. The pictures were captured in memories and some albums. Later, we've done three family trips to Himachal Pradesh, covering, Shimla, Manali, Dalhousie, Dharmshala, McLeod Ganj, Sarahan, Sangla, Chitkul, Kalpa, Kaza, Kibber, and so on. In other trips, we covered Kashmir (Srinagar, Pahalgam, Sonamarg and Gulmarg); Ladakh (Leh, Khartung La, Nubra Valley, Pangong Lake and Hemis); Sikkim (Gangtok, Pelling, Lachen, Gurudongmar Lake, Lachung); Kerala (Kochi, Munnar, Thekkady, Kumarakom, Periyar); Karnataka (Mysore, Ooty, Coonoor, Coorg) and home state, Madhya Pradesh (Kanha, Bandhavgarh, Satpura national parks, Khajuraho, Mandu). Amongst foreign countries, visited United States, United Kingdom, Germany, Spain, Czech Republic and Austria.
