American Solar Challenge
The American Solar Challenge (road event) and Formula Sun Grand Prix (track event) are collegiate level student design competitions, organized by Innovators Educational Foundation, to design, build, and drive solar vehicles. In addition, IEF runs the IEF Solar Car Conference which brings the solar car teams together for a learning opportunity with the inspectors, past alumni, sponsors, and others as they begin their next solar car project. FSGP is not associated with FORMULA 1 racing.
