EmbraceMultiMH
Embrace Multicultural Mental Health is run by Mental Health Australia. We provide a national focus on mental health and suicide prevention for multicultural communities. We support multicultural communities to understand and access mental health resources and services. We help mental health services improve their cultural responsiveness.
We are proud to partner with the Federation of Ethnic Communities’ Councils of Australia (FECCA) and the National Ethnic Disability Alliance (NEDA).
We also work closely with our Lived Experience Group with representatives from each state and territory. Our Stakeholder Group also consists of representatives with multicultural mental health expertise and links to multicultural communities.
We’re funded by the Australian Government Department of Health and Aged Care (DoHAC).
