Is Jesus Christ a human person?

According to the Doctrine of the Trinity, Jesus Christ is not a human person. According to the Trinity, Jesus is a divine person, the second person of the Trinity and eternally God. The doctrine teaches that he took on human nature at birth, but that the person of Jesus remains unchanged.

This idea is contradicted by the Bible, which teaches that Jesus Christ is a man. Jesus is depicted as a man in the Gospel narratives. Not only that but there are passages which specifically describe Jesus as a man, among them Acts 2:22; Acts 17:31; and 1 Timothy 2:5. Jesus described himself as “A man who has told you the truth that I heard from God” (John 8:40). The Gospels of Matthew and Luke both introduce the person of Jesus by showing how he has a human lineage, being descended from Abraham and from David.

The point about this is that Jesus is really a completely human person. He is not merely a divine being who has taken on human nature to be born on earth. This exposes a clear failure of the Doctrine of the Trinity, which was adopted by the Church in the late fourth century from Greek philosophy.
