I Vended for 5 Days Straight… Here’s What I Learned

Episode 9 of the weekly side quest series, where I revisited a regular quarterly event I sell at on the UC San Diego campus: The UCSD Vendor Fair. Since these shows are always five days long, I thought it would be interesting to compare how sales on each day are influenced by different factors and keep track of how much of each item sold by the end of the days. This is the first time I'm completely transparent about my revenue. Please keep in mind all disclaimers, revenue is the total amount earned based on the products sold for my business, this does not include the expenses of the show, the cost of the goods, and other arbitrary expenses such as parking fees and such.

$350/day 10x10 booth fee
$15 application fee
$50 parking codes
