On this trip, we drive through a quiet and beautiful river valley in the Yanshan Mountains.
The starting point is located in Taishitun Town, Miyun District, Beijing.
After departure we drove east into the Yanshan Mountains, turning into this stunning scenic highway along the valley of the Dahuangyan River at Beizhuang Town.
The Dahuangyan River separates the Mount Bangchui and Mount Yingwolou on both sides, creating a valley with two walls.
The valley on the Beijing side is a paradise for fishing enthusiasts and an outdoor camping destination.
This route allows for stops at any time to enjoy the scenery and experience the natural beauty of the trail along the river.
The scenery along the way is picturesque, with towering diamond poplars, steep slopes, the hidden Great Wall, and even the Dahuangyan River along the way.
The end of the trip is located in Xinglong National Geopark.
Located at the southern foot of Mount Wulingshan, the park is characterized by Yanshan geological formations, karst caves, granite landscapes, and typical geological tectonic profiles.
Mount Wulingshan, with an altitude of 2,118 meters, is the main peak of the Yanshan Mountain Range and one of the best travel destinations.
