This video traces the history of Waterside Park, from its past to its restoration and into its renewed present. With leadership and support from the Wicomico Environmental Trust (WET), in partnership with the NAACP, Lower Shore Land Trust, and the City of Salisbury, the park has undergone a remarkable transformation.
Through native landscape restoration, invasive species removal, tree planting, and habitat creation, Waterside Park has become a living example of what’s possible when a community comes together with purpose.
Today, Waterside Park is more than a green space. It’s a place to gather, to learn, and to connect.
