Shakmat Griffin's Claws: Fun Streamlined Performance Tool for Eurorack

I’m stoked to show off this really cool module, Shakmat’s Griffin’s Claw. It says it’s a Quad Attenuator Recorder but I like to think of it as that but also a modulation source and sequencer. The super power of this module is having control over the 4 channels in combination with the quantizing to different time signatures. Well, that and a gate or trigger out which is one of my favorite things on Bard Quartet. Shakmat continues to produce really thoughtful performance tools and this one fits right into that ethos. I was excited about this since it was announced and I’m not disappointed. Shakmat sent this to me a bit ahead of launch to check out and to make a video on it. It came together with some late nights and some scrappiness but hey, I hope it shows some of the fun you might be able to have with it and the power of recording your modulation. It’s something I’ve valued a ton with Neo Trinity and this is another spin on the recorder. It has things Neo Trinity can’t do and it can do things Neo Trinity can’t. This module will appeal to those who find Neo Trinity a bit too dense in function per hp and don’t love button combos. The menu’s on this module are really streamlined and I look forward to see what people think about it.
