In Ghana, many children do not attend school. Parents can't afford to pay the school fees and often need their children to help out at home. SNV now works with the government of Ghana to try to get as many children back to school. The Ghana School Feeding Programme provides school children with one hot meal a day, while creating employment opportunities for various members of the community.
