In this weeks episode we break down how we got the shiplap panels on the ceiling of the van and what it took to get the Dometic AC and Maxxair fan installed. We started by doing a final trim on all of the spray foam. From there we started to cut the shiplap panels. We started in the middle of the ceiling and worked our way to the outside. We used brad nails and liquid nail to attach all of the shiplap panels. From there we used a Sawzall and cut out the openings we allowed for in the roof. Next we put the Maxxair fan shroud in the roof opening and sealed it with butyl tape and 3M 5200. Then we put the ac unit on the roof and bolted it down to the van. after that we installed the lights and put the air distribution box on the AC unit.
