Young and the Restless on CBS, saw a host of romantic pairings that thrilled and disappointed fans alike in 2023. Top on the list of best couples were Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) and Jeremy Stark (James Hyde), both schemers with undeniable chemistry. In addition, fans were captivated by the rekindled romance between Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) and Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman), despite speculation about Diane's motives.

The enduring love on YR between Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) and Victor Newman (Eric Braeden), the "The Mustache", also earned them a spot on the list. The second-best couple, Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) and Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson), were admired for their mutual support during difficult times. However, the top spot went to Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) and Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) for their captivating chemistry and strong personalities.

Not all pairings were as well-received on Young and Restless. Among the worst couples were Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) and Sharon Newman (Sharon Case), Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) and Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic), and Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) with Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson). Audra Charles' (Zuleyka Silver) relationships were also criticized, particularly her fling with Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor).

However, the worst relationship of the year was the toxic rivalry between Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) and Christine Williams (Lauralee Bell) over Danny Romalotti (Michael Damian), a relationship that captivated viewers for all the wrong reasons. Despite the divisive opinions, fans eagerly anticipate what twists and turns 2024 will bring to these Genoa City residents' love lives.
