Inkscape: Mesh Gradients

In this video we will be covering a brand new feature in inkscape: mesh gradients. Until now inkscape has been able to handle linear and radial gradients, but has not been able to create curved gradients. With mesh gradients this becomes possible. I am currently working with inkscape 0.92. Click on Help - About Inkscape to find out which version you have.

In this tutorial we learn:
to set the fill of an object to mesh gradient
to move the grid point of the mesh
to change the direction of the gradient around mesh points
to set the colour of one or multiple mesh points
select multiple grid point
select a conical or mesh gradient
set the number of rows and columns in the mesh
set the colour of a grid point by picking the colour underneath
resize the mesh

We also draw a simple rainbow to practice the theory we just learned.
