This leela reveals the oneness of Lord Sainath of Shirdi and Lord Pandharinath (Vithhal of Pandharpur).

Sitadevi Tarkhad, whom Baba lovingly called “Aye” (mother), was a devoted follower of Sai Baba. She longed to visit Pandharpur and offer a garland to Lord Vithhal. When she expressed this wish, Baba assured her that Shirdi itself was Pandharpur and He Himself was Pandharinath. Yet, out of His compassion, Baba promised that her heartfelt desire would be fulfilled.

Later, Sitadevi and her son Jyotindra visited Pandharpur. When the temple priest refused her request to personally garland the deity, Sitadevi prayed earnestly to Baba.

When Sitadevi returned to Shirdi, Baba lovingly asked, “Mother, did Lord Vithhal accept your garland?” Sitadevi, with tears in her eyes, realized and acknowledged that it was Baba Himself who had fulfilled her wish.

This divine incident highlights Baba’s assurance that Shirdi itself is Pandharpur, and Sai Baba is none other than Lord Vithhal.
