As you saw in the last engine building video, Jimmy and I used his rebuilt Van Norman 777s boring bar to bore an engine block for a soon to be 388 cubic inch small block Chevy stroker engine. Well today is a bit of an experiment; Jimmy and I picked up a Serv Equip honing cabinet. While it is used, it is new to us. Over the last few days Jimmy has been rebuilding it and today we are going to test it out to see what additional modifications are needed to suit our needs. Our test block is a 1970 350 LT1 that is stock bore that just needs the cylinders deglazed before being put back together. We will do another video on the future on how to ser this all up as part of our engine building video series. Stay tuned....
