Stracey Arms Drainage Mill on the River Bure in Norfolk is being restored as part of the Mill and the Marsh Folk project. This work was made possible through the generous support of the National Lottery Heritage Fund.
With thanks to Quinto Crane and Plant Ltd. for carrying out the lift safely and successfully and to the Water, Mills and Marshes Broads Landscape Partnership Scheme for lending us their time-lapse camera.
Highlights:
01:15 - Crane arrives
04:55 - Temporary cap is removed
10:28 - Restored cap is lifted
Stracey Arms Drainage Mill is owned by Norfolk County Council and has been managed on their behalf by Norfolk Windmills Trust since 1965.
