Winner: Ally Wollaston (FDJ-Suez) doubled up, extending her lead in the General Classification.
The Finish: It was a "lumpy" battle through the hills, but Wollaston’s mental "switch" flipped in the final 10km, allowing her to overtake Rüegg in the dying meters.
QOM Update: Paula Blasi (UAE Team ADQ) took over the Queen of the Mountain jersey today after a very aggressive ride through the 5 categorized climbs.
GC Standings: Wollaston leads by 14 seconds over Josie Nelson (Team Picnic PostNL) heading into the final stage.
