The Edaville Railroad, also known as the "Cranberry Belt Line," was established in 1947 by Ellis D. Atwood of South Carver, MA. Although the initial plan for this 2-foot narrow gauge railroad was to haul freight, the historic train rides proved to be very popular, so they stuck with it! On a cold but sunny Saturday in December, the Edaville Railroad ran two steam locomotives, #3 and #11, both built in 1925.
