The melody is played over the Andalusian Cadence (Dm C Bb A7). The bridge uses a progression F6 D9 Gm E7 A7 which leads back to the theme. The main solo starts with a series of II V I (Edim7 A7 Dm) progressions followed by the progression from the bridge.
Scales:
The melody uses the Aeolean mode over the Andalusian cadence. The solo starts on Bar 38 with an "outside" lick over the V chord A7 using the altered notes b9 #9 and #5 (C Bb and F) before moving to the tritone sub arpeggio (Eb) resolving back to the Dm.
