Chloe and Nadine enter a hidden city, Belur, facing numerous enemies, including snipers and heavies, and navigate its architecture to solve puzzles. They find a massive statue of Shiva, use its mechanisms to open a new area, and complete a disk puzzle in a library, which reveals a cutscene hinting at the historical significance of the Tusk as a symbol of culture rather than just power.

She discovers that the trinket she carried from childhood, sent by her father after he disappeared, matches an enlarged model of the Tusk of Ganesh at the city's heart. This revelation transforms her motivation from a simple fortune hunt to a personal mission to honor her father's legacy and protect the artifact and city from the warlord Asav.

Upon solving the light puzzle, Asav's men discover Chloe and Nadine's location. A large firefight ensues on the collapsing walkways around the Shiva statue, where the duo must eliminate multiple insurgents, including enemies with shotguns and a rocket launcher.

After clearing the area, Chloe and Nadine attempt to escape but are cornered and captured by Asav and his forces. Sam Drake, who had been captured earlier, is also revealed to be in Asav's custody.

Held at gunpoint, Chloe is forced by Asav to solve a final, complex five-layer disk puzzle that depicts the legend of Parashurama and Ganesh where Ganesh sacrificed himself for the sake of his father Shiva.
