This Communicant is essentially three colors: silver armor, bronze/gold accents, and bluish undead skin. Perfect candidate for the oil wash method that makes grim dark painting so fast.

Metal: Army Painter Broadsword Silver speed paint, then Halfork Gold for accents. Let dry, then slather on an oil wash (burnt umber, black, yellow ochre mixed with mineral spirits). Wipe off with makeup sponge—instant weathered metal.

Skin: Same modified Zorn palette—blue mixed into the brown wash for that undead coldness matching the official art. Slather it on, wait 10 minutes, remove most with makeup sponge. Then highlight with mostly white plus a touch of blue, dotting on the raised muscles. Blend with a filbert brush.

The whole model could be done in 20 minutes of actual paint time. Oils are magic for this style—forgiving, blendable, and the results look incredible. If you wanted warm skin instead, you could base coat in Rakarth Flesh and just use Streaking Grime, but the blue wash matches the creepy official aesthetic perfectly.
