One of the more important aspects when designing your custom component library in #autocad #Plant 3D using #python is providing informative and user-friendly preview images—both in the #Spec Editor and directly in the #Plant 3D environment.
In this video, I’ll share with you my approach to this topic and explain, step by step, how it works inside AutoCAD.

📌 Image sizes we create:
640px → For dimensioned previews in the properties panel
200px → For catalog and spec thumbnails
32 & 64px → Still a mystery... Maybe you know where these are used?
