We managed to secure places in the British Masters 5K Championship at Battersea Park on 1st December 2024. This meant I got to meet @TimGrose for the first time since the start line of the London Marathon in 2005. We have been posting very similar 5K times recently so who would prevail on the day in this stacked Masters field?
Could Dawn maintain her Masters medal success having been on the podium over both the 10K and 5K distances this year for England Masters? Or would the depth of the F60 field, which included multiple world record holder Claire Elms, push her out of the silverware?
We had a brilliant day out catching up with friends old and new across the running scene. Share our morning with us.
