🧾 Ingredients
Cake Ingredients
• 250 g plain flour
• 250 g butter (room temperature)
• 250 g sugar
• 5 eggs
• 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
• 1 teaspoon baking powder
• ½ teaspoon baking soda
• A pinch of salt
• ¼ cup milk
• 2 tablespoons fine desiccated coconut
• 2 tablespoons Nutella
• 100 g chocolate chips
Chocolate Ganache
• 150 ml double cream
• 300 g milk chocolate

🍰 Method | How to Cook
1. Take a large mixing bowl. Add butter and sugar.
Mix well for 1–2 minutes using a wooden spoon or whisk until light and fluffy.
2. Add eggs one by one:
• Add the first egg, mix for 30 seconds
• Add the second egg, mix again for 30 seconds
• Add the third egg, mix 30 seconds
• Add the fourth egg, mix 30 seconds
• Add the fifth egg and mix well
The batter should be fluffy and full of air.
3. Now add plain flour, baking powder, baking soda, vanilla essence, and a pinch of salt.
Mix gently until combined.
4. Add desiccated coconut, chocolate chips, Nutella, and milk.
Mix well until smooth.
5. Prepare the baking tray (12×12 inch):
• Grease the tray with butter
• Dust with plain flour
(Or use baking paper instead)
6. Pour the cake batter into the prepared tray and level it evenly.
7. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for 45 minutes.
8. Check with a toothpick. If it comes out clean, the cake is ready.

🍫 Ganache & Finishing
1. Make small holes all over the cake using a toothpick.
2. Heat the double cream until warm (do not boil).
3. Add milk chocolate to the warm cream and mix until smooth ganache forms.
4. Pour the warm ganache over the cake so it soaks into the holes.
5. Serve warm and enjoy this soft, chocolaty Nutella cake 🍰
