Mexico - 32 - Finding Puerto Morelos in Mexico: Travel day from colonial charm to coastal calm.

Join me on an authentic Mexico travel adventure as I journey from Valladolid on the Yucatán Peninsula to the charming coastal town of Puerto Morelos.

I start my trip from Departamento Street 48, where I rented a scooter from Koóx Balak Scooter Rental, before heading to the ADO bus station.
From there, I take an ADO Conecta minibus to Cancún, and then hop on a colectivo—a shared local minivan—to reach Puerto Morelos.

These colectivos are a unique part of traveling in Mexico, offering affordable and flexible transportation along set routes.

Once I arrive, I check into Casa Linda, located inside Palma Grand Residencial. It’s not a hotel, but a local homestay experience where I share the house with the owners.

In the afternoon, I explore the beachside and tourist area, watch pelicans, book a massage, and enjoy dinner at Prats Restaurant before returning with an Uber.
