I've been asked to get another Jack Russell video up so in this video I'll show how I painted Frank. Painting shorter fur in acrylics is all down to how we layer. Building up depth and details working from what is closest to the skin first. In this video I'll share some of my tips and techniques I use in my own paintings. Painting a smooth coated Jack Russell requires the details to be fine and also smooth to replicate that fur texture. I'll share my top tip for capture such details :).
