HONDA INSIGHT HYBRID BATTERY REPAIR RECONDITION REMOVAL INSTALLATION IMA LIGHT 2001 DEEP DISCHARGE

Bought this 2001 Honda Insight with the IMA battery light on. I decided to take on the repair and remove the individual cells and recondition them individually. I'm happy with the repair. The IMA light came back on after about 10,000 miles and I got a grid charger. That seemed to fix it also. I like the individual cell approach mainly because you can target the bad cells and cycle the hell out them. The grid charger approach is a little more crude. Hope you enjoy.
