Most of the BMW N20 engines have a drivetrain malfunction light , most of the time this warning comes from engine control module , need to check engine , it also requires to check with special canner to make sure what is the reason for drivetrain malfunction.
It had 11C404 and 11C402 these two fault codes most likely from HPFP.
