Whether you're thinking about landscaping with succulents or about how to plant a dry stone garden wall, it's important to consider not only the natural growing conditions of whatever you're going to plant, in this case, succulents, but also the micro-climates that your dry stone wall may harbor.
In this video we'll begin by looking at how established cold hardy succulents are already growing on a drystone wall in Provence and compare their conditions to those in which we observed them nearby in the wild in a previous video.
In the second part we'll plant and transplant common houseleeks (hens and chicks) sedums and other succulents on another drystone wall. I've listed the plants along with their scientific names below.
