Cheshire Life History Column - 2020 Review

My name is James Balme, Writer, Presenter and History Columnist for prestigious Cheshire Life magazine. 2020 has been a fantastic year and I have thoroughly enjoyed becoming the History Columnist for Cheshire Life. My work has seen me write about many historical places across Cheshire and as well as writing my history column I have also visited each place personally to explore for myself the history that still remains to be seen today.
When I became history columnist I decided to do something very different to most columnists and devised a new format that would see me film and present a history feature about each of the historical sites that I write about. This has proved to be a great success allowing readers of my column to then watch on Youtube a film shot at the same location thus giving the reader a much better insight into the historical location that I have written about.
Already I have written and filmed a new feature for my January 2021 history column so 2021 is going to be a busy year with more history and heritage features to come.
This film highlights each article that I have written this year and also includes excerpts taken from the films that support each article.
