This is the time of year when it's starting to get dark early. How about we railfan on one of the very few elevated stations in Manhattan during the evening and late night?
This is 125th Street on the IRT (1) line, located on a short elevated portion stretching between 122nd & 135th Streets. The (1) line is home to many R62As and occasional R62s, and is a crucial route for A division yard transfers and other various moves as it connects with the 207th Street Yard.
Sit back and relax as we witness a regular night on the West Side line, with bonus footage at the end !
This video is also a sneak peak of what's to come in my next video, which will come out on the 121st anniversary of the NYC Subway. And yes you guessed it, it's going to be an historical virtual railfanning film
