Blackberry Honey Ice Cream

I found this recipe via the Carnivore Code cookbook and decided to give it a try. Glad I did! This also works if you don't have an ice cream maker--just freeze and stir occasionally.
Ingredients:
2 cups fresh blackberries (you could use frozen blackberries)
6 tablespoons raw, unfiltered honey (make sure there's no corn syrup added)
3 egg yolks
3 cups plus 2 tablespoons heavy whipping cream
1 cup whole milk
Directions:
1. In a medium saucepan, heat the blackberries over medium low heat until juices begin releasing (about 10-15 minutes). Try not to smoosh the blackberries. Transfer to a bowl and cool in the frig for 1 hour.
2. In a large mixing bowl, add yolks, honey, cream, and milk. Whisk until fully mixed, and put in frig to cool for 1 hour.
3. Add blackberries and juice to cream mixture and thorough mix together. Add to ice cream maker and follow churning instructions.
4. Transfer churned ice cream to a container and put in freezer to set for 2 hours.
Recipe works with other types of fruit as well.
