In the holy month of Sawan, #TravellingLover is starting the Mahadev Series. In this series, we will explore the major Shiva temples and important places associated with Lord Bholenath in Bihar, along with sharing their significance and history.
On the very first day of Sawan, I’m taking you to the sacred shrine of Baba Hariharnath, located in Sonepur, Vaishali district. According to Sanatan Dharma, this is one of those rare places where Lord Shiva and Lord Vishnu reside together. It is also the confluence of the Ganga and Gandak rivers, making it spiritually even more significant.
So let’s begin our journey… to the divine abode of Baba Hariharnath.
