Marching Mizzou, St. Patrick’s Day Parade, Tipperary Town 2024

Mizzou Marching Band from University of Missouri USA at the St. Patrick’s Day Parade Tipperary Town 2024
The band comprised 350 members of which 293 were students that marched 5 across and stretched for 200 metres along the street. Spectators lined the footpaths up to 5 deep, they were appreciative and applauded the entertaining performances. The band plays the WW1 song “It's a Long Way to Tipperary” in stadiums to rouse their football team’s supporters. Supporters 80№ travelled from the USA who were mainly family. They travelled in seven busses with a lorry for the musical equipment. The band wore black and golden uniforms and comprised Band-leader, Banner walkers, Baton Twirlers with gymnastic moves 3№, Band Majors 4№, Golden Girls 27№ (Dancer), Colour Guard 26№ (Flag Spinning) and Musicians who played :- Trombones, Trumpets, Baritones, Drumline – cymbals, bass, quads, snares, Mellophones, Sousaphones, Alto Saxophones, Tenor Saxophones, Piccolos and Clarinets.
