Moses and “That Prophet”
Story of Moses: Miriam followed baby Moses as her mother instructed. The Princess took Moses and asked Miriam to find a woman to nurse him. She brought her mother.
Moses grew up in the Palace of Pharoah until he killed the Egyptian and had to flee Egypt. God called Moses to free His people from Egypt to go back to the promised land.
Exodus 2 - Deuteronomy 18
In Deuteronomy 18:18 Hashem gives an answer to the people who don’t want to listen to Him directly. HaShem gives his promise: “I will raise up “a Prophet” like you (Moses) and I will put My words in His mouth and you will listen to Him”
John 1:20-21 The Levites and priests asked John, “Are you the Christ? Are you Elijah? Are you “THAT prophet?” They knew about the prophesy that Moses gave about the Messiah who would come and speak HaShem’s words to the people.
Moses came to save the people of Israel and take them to the Promised Land,
Yeshua came (And he was in Egypt as a child too) to save all people and take us into the Kingdom of Heaven.
