Bass Strait by Kayak Part 7. We spent the next 4 days flapping around on Flinders Island waiting for the weather to change. We had a prediction of 4 days of bad weather then 2 reasonable days to complete. Flinders Island is a fantastic place to visit and explore. There is always a beach that is relatively sheltered from the wind. We enjoyed our time here. Sadly, the weather window never eventuated to give us time to cross safely. It really hurt me to have a none complete. But sanity prevailed in our weather support team , Brian Pozzey from Sailing Adventures. The trip was over and we shipped out. I spoilt my wife for a week in Tasmania as a thankyou for helping us with the logistics of the trip and coming along to support us at drop off, on Flinders Island and Pick up and drive home from Tasmania to Brisbane. Couldn't have done the trip without her.
