The Exploring Star-Planet-Disk Connections conference will focus on the intricate relationships between stars, planets, and disks, aiming to advance our understanding of these connections.
The conference will take place from 14–17 October 2025 at the University of Tartu Library, Tartu, Estonia and online.
Key Topics Include:
Chemical/composition links between stars, planets, and disks
Stellar characterisation instruments and methods (photosphere and interior)
Detailed characterisation of individual objects
Science with large stellar surveys (APOGEE, LAMOST, 4MOST, etc.)
Host star studies with meter-class telescopes
Demographics & populations of stars and planets
Formation of stars and their planetary systems
Host stars in the era of JWST, E-ELT, PLATO, and other new facilities
This conference is organised by the EXOHOST project consortium and is funded by the European Union’s Horizon Europe research and innovation programme under grant agreement No. 101079231 (EXOHOST), and from UK Research and Innovation (UKRI) under the UK government’s Horizon Europe funding guarantee (grant number 10051045).
