Episode 776

Maggie (Irene Sutcliffe) demands Annie (Doris Speed) keep Lucille (Jennifer Moss) away from her son Gordon (Bill Kenwright) and accuses Annie of corrupting him with drink. Dennis (Philip Lowrie) decides to hold his reception at a different venue than the Rovers much to Annie's dismay. Ken (Bill Roache) apologises to Val (Anne Reid) for the way he’s behaved but she remains hurt by his pompous manner towards her. Minnie (Margot Bryant) gets a herbal remedy from Maggie for Bobby the Cat who is unwell. She later receives a hairnet from Ena (Violet Carson) signalling her intention to return to Weatherfield for the wedding.
