Railfanning BNSF's Southern Transcon: A morning spent on Curtis Hill (3/30/2018)

When Spring Break hits, it hits hard, and I certainly was not going to take things lying down. At first I was looking towards covering Norfolk Southern's Rathole extensively, but with the weather looking rather cloudy, I took a left turn, heading West to the Panhandle of Oklahoma.
BNSF's Panhandle Subdivison runs from Amarillo, TX, to Wellington, KS, and hosts just about everything from the West heading towards Chicago. The line easily sees 100+ trains in a day, and offers almost every type of train except for coal.
In the four days I was on the Panhandle, I saw close to 300 trains in total, but I only brought my video camera to shoot the massive sweeping curve around the base of Curtis Hill.
